Why are there different voices on different devices?
The voices come from your operating system's speech engine, not this site. Windows, macOS, Android and iOS each ship their own set.
Is there a length limit?
Very long passages can be cut off by the browser's speech engine. Split large documents into a few thousand characters at a time.
